ATTENTION
ALL INTERESTED SHOOTERS OF ALL AGES
Shooting practice is on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays beginning at 4:00PM. We shoot outdoors April thru October at the Putnam County Gun Club range in Eleanor WV.
There is no cost to participate in this program. This is an introduction to Precision .22 shooting. The rifles, ammo and all necessary equipment is provided.
When you are planning to attend shooting practice, please contact Bill Shank at 304-539-2944 at least 24 hours in advance so he can bring a rifle for you to use in practice.

In 2021, PCGC Junior Rifle Team will have 3 shooters with Rifle Scholarships, all in KY, Mitchell Nelson at UK, Bryce Ward at Morehead State and Zach Jackson at Murray State.

1. Rifle Practice
We have had 11 practice sessions with 1 to 4 shooters each session and 25 total participants. There were 4
different shooters. There are no new shooters.
To allow for social distance, we are still using only every other shooting point.
2. Events and Matches
1. Zach Jackson is competing in the monthly CMP Air Rifle Matches at Camp Perry OH.
3. Upcoming Events
The 2020 Match Season is completed.

Junior Rifle Team Report
1. Rifle Practice
We have had 8 practice sessions with 1 to 3 shooters each session and 16 total participants. There were 3
different shooters. There are no new shooters.
To allow for social distance, we are still using only every other shooting point.
2. We have lost our Indoor Shooting Site and are going to practice (Indoor Targets and distance) at the PCGC Range
weather permitting on Wednesday and Thursday at 11:30 AM– 3:30 PM.
3. Events and Matches
1. Zach Jackson is competing in the monthly CMP Air Rifle Matches at Camp Perry OH. Zach and Grant
Kimberling shot in the Dixie Double at CMP South, Talladega AL.
3. Upcoming Events
We will continue shooting in CMP competition, both CMP North and CMP South. Zach Jackson, Owen and Grant
Kimberling have registered for monthly Air Rifle 3P Postal Matches at CMP North.

1. 2021 PCGC Junior Rifle Team Raffle
This Special Edition bolt action repeater, 5 shot capacity .22 WMR rifle features a red, brown & gray laminate thumbhole Evolution, barracuda style forend Stock. It has a 21”, Match-grade accuracy, Heavy free-floating satin stainless steel barrel with Spiral fluting, Accutriger, 3-position safety, detachable box magazine and a Simmons 3-9x32 22MAG silver scope with see-thru covers installed, includes 1 box of ammo and a Hard Case.
Drawing will be held September 19, 2021. Firearm must be picked up by October 31, 2021.
Winner does not need to be present to win, but Must comply with all federal and state firearm regulations.
