Enough fun for the entire family
Bring the kids, bring yourself, and bring the whole family! Whether they’ve never handled a firearm or already enjoy the shooting sports, Youth Day is a fun opportunity to learn, try something new, and spend the day outdoors together.
No experience is necessary. Our friendly volunteers will be at every station to provide instruction, answer questions, and help each participant enjoy the activity safely.
Come hungry, come ready to have fun, and don’t be surprised if the parents enjoy Youth Day just as much as the kids!
Safety comes first—but fun is a very close second!
PARKING
Come directly to the range, where our parking attendants will show you where to park.
REGISTRATION
Everyone should report to the clubhouse upon arrival. Participants will register, attend a brief safety orientation, and pick up some free prizes while supplies last.
LET THE FUN BEGIN!
After the safety briefing, families can visit the different activity stations located throughout the range. Try them all—or return to your favorites as many times as you like!

Bridge Closed
The Putnam Co Gun Club is still open... just the bridge across from the pool is closed.
This means that you have to go the long way around, past the backside of the fair grounds.
